Former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang Party, Ma Ying-jeou, recently visited the Du Fu Cottage Museum in Sichuan Province alongside a group of Taiwan students. During his visit, Ma emphasized the importance of embracing Chinese culture and criticized Taiwan's current direction towards de-Sinicization, attributing it to political maneuvers by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). He called upon the younger generation of Taiwan to take responsibility and steer the country towards a path that honors its Chinese heritage.
