Peruvian President Highlights Connectivity as Path to Progress Ahead of Xi’s Visit

In a significant move reinforcing Peru's commitment to international collaboration, President Dina Boluarte emphasized that connectivity is the cornerstone of Peru's progress. Speaking in Lima, Boluarte outlined the vital role of infrastructure development in driving the nation's growth and enhancing its global standing.

Peru, one of the pioneering Latin American countries to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China, is set to welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping from November 14 to 17. This state visit underscores the strong bilateral ties and the shared vision for mutual development.

During her conversation with CMG's Zou Yun, President Boluarte highlighted the numerous opportunities arising from the Belt and Road Initiative. She stressed that such international partnerships are essential for fostering sustainable development, improving transportation networks, and boosting economic resilience.

As Peru gears up for President Xi's visit, the focus remains on leveraging connectivity and infrastructure projects to create a robust framework for future growth. This collaboration aims to not only enhance Peru's domestic capabilities but also strengthen its position within the global economy.
