On July 16, tourists took to the skies at Tianding Lake International Tourism Resort in Wencheng County, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, aboard an unmanned electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, or eVTOL. The innovative sightseeing flight soared to an altitude of 600 meters, offering passengers breathtaking views of the surrounding lake and canyons from the air.
This pioneering experience is part of Wencheng County's ambitious plans to develop cultural tourism through five major attractions. These include eVTOL experience tours, helicopter flying tours, rotorcraft sports tours, hot air balloon waterfall sightseeing tours, and drone aerial photography tours. By establishing five low-altitude routes around Feiyun Lake, Tongling Mountain, and Tianding Lake, the county aims to actively promote low-altitude tourism and provide diverse, immersive experiences for visitors.
