Bahrain has taken a significant step in strengthening its international ties by launching its first direct flight to China. On Tuesday, May 28, a civil air flight operated by Bahrain International Airport successfully connected Bahrain to Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The initiative doesn't stop there. As part of the expansion plan, Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, will commence direct flights to Guangzhou, the capital of south China's Guangdong Province, starting Wednesday. This move aims to facilitate smoother travel and business connections between the two nations.
Following the initial launches, direct flights between Bahrain and China will operate daily, ensuring consistent and reliable service. Specifically, flights to Shanghai are scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while flights to Guangzhou will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
This new flight route not only enhances connectivity but also opens up opportunities for increased tourism, business ventures, and cultural exchanges between Bahrain and China. Young global citizens, business enthusiasts, and travelers alike can look forward to more accessible and convenient travel options, fostering deeper international engagement.
