Beijing Hosts Majestic Dragon Exhibition Featuring Rare Jade Relics

Beijing is celebrating the rich legacy of dragons with a special exhibition that showcases over 200 cultural relics related to these mythical creatures. The exhibition opened its doors to the public on February 6 at the National Museum of China, featuring nearly 90 percent of the artifacts making their debut.

At the heart of the exhibition stands the Neolithic Hongshan Culture jade dragon, proudly titled the \\"First Dragon of China\\". This stunning piece is characterized by its deep green hue and a curled shape resembling the letter \\"C\\". The jade dragon's snout extends forward with a tightly closed mouth, complemented by protruding diamond-shaped eyes and a prominently displayed mane.

Visitors to the National Museum can immerse themselves in the intricate artistry and historical significance of these dragon-themed relics, offering a glimpse into the cultural importance of dragons throughout Chinese history.
