The Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, a highlight of winter tourism in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, has unveiled one of its most charming attractions: the Truant Penguins.
These delightful penguins, affectionately dubbed the little ambassadors of Harbin, have captured the hearts of visitors at Harbin Polarland, a polar-themed amusement park. Among them, one penguin stands out with its small backpack, adding to their playful and endearing personas.
\"The Truant Penguins have become superstars at Harbin Polarland,\" explained Zhang Jiwei, a manager at the park. \"Their playful frolicking in the outdoor ice and snow mimics the antics of students at play, which inspired their whimsical names.\"
As the festival draws in crowds from around the globe, the Truant Penguins not only add to the festive cheer but also symbolize the unique blend of nature and creativity that Harbin offers to its visitors.
