The 5th Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF) concluded on a high note in Sanya, China’s Hainan Province, with the announcement of the prestigious Golden Coconut Awards.
Under the esteemed chairmanship of Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan, the jury meticulously evaluated 4,018 entries from 109 countries and regions. The competition was fierce, showcasing a diverse array of cinematic talents from around the globe.
