Preserving Guangxi’s Rich Liubao Tea Heritage

Experience the essence of Guangxi through a cup of Liubao tea, a beverage that embodies centuries of tradition and craftsmanship.

Wei Jiequn, a proud inheritor of the national-level intangible cultural heritage of Liubao tea production, has dedicated over forty years to nurturing the local tea industry. At 65 years old, Wei continues to share his passion by presenting Liubao tea to visitors in the town of Liubao, Guangxi—the very place that lends its name to this unique tea.

Wei's commitment goes beyond production; he has established a master studio within the tea factory, where he conducts extensive training courses for local tea farmers. Through these efforts, Wei ensures that the traditional handcrafting techniques of Liubao tea are preserved and passed down to future generations, sustaining both the cultural heritage and the local economy.
