After a nearly four-year hiatus, Air China, the country’s flag carrier, has resumed its direct service from Washington DC to Beijing. The resumption marks the end of a pause that began in February 2020 due to unprecedented global disruptions.
The inaugural flight took off from the U.S. capital on Tuesday afternoon, establishing a new twice-weekly schedule both ways. Travelers can look forward to direct flights from China to Washington DC, while the return journey will include a stopover in Los Angeles. This move is expected to bolster connectivity and support both business and leisure travelers navigating the post-pandemic landscape.
