China successfully launched the Gaofen-12 05 satellite today from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The Long March-4C rocket, taking off at 7:45 a.m. Beijing Time, delivered the satellite into its designated orbit.
Gaofen-12 05 is set to enhance Earth observation capabilities, aiding in land surveys, urban planning, confirming land rights, designing road networks, estimating crop yields, and disaster prevention and mitigation.
This achievement marks the 540th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, highlighting China's continued advancements in space technology.
