Chinese cybersecurity agencies have released a comprehensive report alleging that the United States government and its intelligence agencies orchestrated a false flag operation known as 'Volt Typhoon.' According to the report, these actions were aimed at misleading and disrespecting other nations.
The investigation, jointly conducted by China's National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and the National Engineering Laboratory for Computer Virus Prevention Technology, claims that the U.S. planted backdoor malware in U.S.-made IT devices. This malware, the report asserts, was used to penetrate the network infrastructures of countries including China and Germany.
\"We decided to publish this report to further disclose the cyber espionage operations targeting China, Germany, and other countries, which were launched by the U.S. government, intelligence agencies, and Five Eyes countries,\" the report states.
The release of this report highlights ongoing tensions in international cybersecurity and underscores concerns about the integrity of global digital infrastructures.
