Soyuz MS-25 Capsule Returns Trio from International Space Station

A Russian Soyuz capsule landed on the Kazakh steppe on Monday, bringing two Russian cosmonauts and a U.S. astronaut back to Earth after a mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft, operated by Roscosmos, carried cosmonauts Nikolai Chub and Oleg Kononenko, alongside NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson. The capsule touched down at 1159 GMT, marking the end of their missions.

Kononenko and Chub had been part of the ISS crew since last September, completing an impressive 374-day expedition. Meanwhile, Dyson's mission was shorter, lasting 184 days, contributing to various scientific experiments and international collaborations on the station.

This successful return underscores the ongoing partnership between Roscosmos and NASA in maintaining and operating the ISS, a hub for global scientific advancement and cooperation in space exploration.
