Wang Lixin, the company's overseas marketing manager, emphasized the products' efficiency and their potential to address critical patient needs. \"This is our first time in Ghana, and we've made valuable connections. We look forward to collaborating with local hospitals and agents to support healthcare here,\" Wang stated.
Zetop, another key player in the medical equipment supply sector, also made a significant impact. Jiang Qian, Zetop's foreign trade manager, expressed optimism about the burgeoning opportunities for China-Africa medical cooperation. With existing agents in Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, Zetop aims to expand its reach into West Africa through Ghana.
The summit was not only a showcase of technological advancements but also a platform for fostering international partnerships. Sandra Ashong, president of the Ghana Association of Medical Herbalists, praised the display of traditional Chinese medicine tools and advanced medications. \"There are great prospects for enhancing medical cooperation between Ghana and China. We've learned a lot and hope to integrate these technologies to improve our healthcare system,\" Ashong remarked.
Biomedical engineer Margaret-Mary Bortsie from the Ghana Health Service highlighted the transformative potential of the showcased technologies. \"The digital and portable oxygen concentrators are a game-changer compared to the analog models we currently use. Investing in such advanced technologies can significantly enhance healthcare efficiency and outcomes in West Africa,\" she urged.
