China Media Group (CMG) has wrapped up its groundbreaking coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics by departing from Stade de France on Monday, just six hours after the thrilling closing ceremony. Arriving in Paris on July 16, CMG's fleet of 8K ultra-high-definition (UHD) live broadcast vans, often referred to as the \"Chinese red\" broadcast vans, delivered an unprecedented viewing experience. Over the course of the games, these state-of-the-art vans provided the global audience with more than 60 hours of stunning 8K UHD coverage of the Olympic track and field events and the closing ceremony. This milestone made Paris 2024 the first Summer Olympics in history to feature an 8K UHD public broadcast signal, setting a new standard for how audiences around the world experience live sporting events.
