The 2024 International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) successfully concluded on Friday at the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, located in Huairou Science City. This 13-day event attracted over 1,000 esteemed scholars from around the world, including Fields medalists, Turing Award winners, Nobel Prize laureates, and numerous members of national academies from the Chinese mainland, the U.S., Japan, and several European countries.
