Beijing witnessed the grand inauguration of the China Sci-Tech Innovation Gala on July 10, orchestrated by the China Media Group (CMG). The event marked a significant milestone in celebrating advancements in science and technology across the nation.
Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and president of CMG, spearheaded the launch ceremony. He was joined by notable figures including Lin Xin, vice minister and secretary general at the Ministry of Science and Technology; Wang Jinzhan, secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology; Yu Aihua, deputy secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Commission; and Zhang Hongwen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Hefei Municipal Committee.
The gala also saw the presence of key members from CMG's editorial board, namely Xue Jijun, Jiang Wenbo, and Zhou Zhenhong. Their participation underscores the event's commitment to fostering collaboration between media and technological sectors.
