In a significant boost to energy security and green development, China has completed the Green Energy Port, the nation's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) reserve base, located in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province.
Designed and constructed independently by China, the mega project was realized by the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The completion of this state-of-the-art facility marks a pivotal step in enhancing the energy infrastructure of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Li Feng, deputy general manager of CNOOC Gas Power, emphasized the project's importance to China Media Group, stating, \"The Green Energy Port is crucial in improving energy security in the Yangtze River Delta, supporting our country's overall green development initiatives.\"
This development not only strengthens the region's energy resilience but also aligns with China's broader goals of sustainable growth and environmental responsibility.
