The municipal government of Beijing has unveiled a comprehensive guideline aimed at enhancing infrastructure and services to foster the city's future-oriented industries.
Last year, Beijing identified six key fields, including information, health, manufacturing, energy and materials, and 20 specific industries such as general artificial intelligence, 6G, smart travel, and quantum information, as part of its promotion plan for future-oriented industries.
Building on this strategy, the city plans to upgrade and establish new incubation bases that will provide high-value support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and unicorn enterprises, according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology.
\"Such bases need to be equipped with various resources including docking universities and research institutions, and providing finance and business management services, so as to help enterprises recruit talent, transform scientific and technological achievements, develop markets, and seek investment and financing,\" said an official from the bureau.
