The Tianfu high-speed train maintenance base, the largest of its kind in the Chinese mainland, has officially begun operations this Friday. Situated in the Tianfu New Area of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, the sprawling facility covers approximately 1.39 square kilometers and comprises two separate yards: east and west.
Featuring 24 state-of-the-art maintenance lines, the base is designed to service up to 180 standard train sets each day. Presently, the east yard is fully operational with 12 lines, enabling the upkeep of up to 90 multiple-unit trains daily when running at full capacity.
Embracing the latest generation of information technology and intelligent equipment, the maintenance base's advanced command system facilitates real-time monitoring of various maintenance operations. This system also allows for the real-time tracking and sharing of maintenance data, as well as intelligent scheduling of maintenance plans, ensuring efficiency and reliability in high-speed train operations.
