The 7th Digital China Summit (DCS) kicked off in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, on Friday, marking a significant milestone with the introduction of an accessible 5.5G network. This year's summit boasts over 100 interactive experiences, including a UHD naked-eye 3D screen, humanoid robots, and AI robot baristas, all designed to captivate a global audience.
Focusing on \"unlocking the value of data and developing new quality productivity,\" the summit is the first after the optimization and adjustment of China's national data work system. Spanning a sprawling 56,000-square-meter live experience area, the event features a central forum and more than 10 breakout sessions, showcasing the latest advancements in building a digital China. Attendees can also look forward to the unveiling of the Digital China Development Report (2023).
The media center opened its doors on Thursday, with over 50,000 attendees registered and more than 11,000 participants signed up for various forums. The on-site experience area proudly hosts over 350 participating units, offering a diverse range of digital innovations.
Guo Yefeng, a staff member of the 7th DCS, shared with China Media Group (CMG) that this year features more immersive application scenarios, addressing the growing interest in AI's role in daily life. Additionally, the summit organization committee has set up 45 experience spots across Fuzhou, allowing residents to witness the latest smart city achievements firsthand.
Yuan Qi, a staff member at Fuzhou's digital experience zone, highlighted the venue's AI-driven services. \"Need directions to the Digital China Summit? Simply ask the AI assistant! It will provide you with specific bus and subway routes, and even generate QR codes for convenient one-click access to public transportation options,\" Yuan explained.
