China Launches Gaojing-3 01 Satellite to Enhance Remote Sensing Capabilities

In a significant advancement for remote sensing technology, the Chinese mainland successfully launched the Gaojing-3 01 satellite on Monday. The mission marked the 516th flight of the Long March series, highlighting China’s ongoing commitment to expanding its space capabilities.

The launch occurred at 12:12 p.m. Beijing Time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. Utilizing the reliable Long March-2D carrier rocket, the Gaojing-3 01 satellite was accurately placed into its designated orbit.

This satellite is set to provide a wide range of commercial remote sensing data services. It will cater to emerging sectors such as digital agriculture, urban information modeling, and live 3D applications.
