Since its inauguration on April 13, 2023, the China-Laos Railway has been a vital link between southwest China's Kunming and Laos' capital, Vientiane. By late March, the railway had already facilitated approximately 180,000 international passenger trips, welcoming travelers from 87 countries and regions.
