The 11th China Internet Audio and Video Convention kicked off on Thursday in Chengdu, the vibrant capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. Over the course of three days, the event has become a hub for innovation and industrial upgrades, attracting numerous enterprises eager to display their latest technologies.

Participants have been showcasing advancements in 5G, 8K, 3D, and cloud gaming, among other cutting-edge sectors. These technologies are at the forefront of transforming the digital audio and video landscape, driving economic growth, and enhancing cultural influence.

Hu Zhengrong, head of the Institute of Journalism & Communication at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized the role of intelligent internet audio and video as new quality productive forces that empower economic growth and support Chinese modernization efforts during the opening ceremony.

Professor Shen Yang from Tsinghua University highlighted the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the industry, stating that AI technology has ushered in an era of \"producing high knowledge with zero knowledge.\" He noted that AI-generated content (AIGC) short videos are increasingly delivering aesthetic, social, and emotional values to audiences. Shen anticipates a future where AIGC videos proliferate and AI assistants become indispensable partners in human innovation.

The convention is co-hosted by China's National Radio and Television Administration and the Sichuan provincial government, underscoring the collaborative effort to advance the nation's digital media capabilities.
