China Launches Yunhai-3 02 Satellite to Enhance Environmental Monitoring

In a significant advancement for environmental monitoring, China successfully launched the Yunhai-3 02 satellite on Wednesday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province.

The launch took place at 6:51 a.m. Beijing Time, utilizing a Long March-6 rocket. This mission marks the 514th flight of the renowned Long March carrier rocket series.

Since entering its designated orbit, Yunhai-3 02 has begun its critical tasks, which include atmospheric and marine environment detection, space environment monitoring, disaster prevention and reduction, as well as conducting scientific experiments. These capabilities will provide valuable data to help address environmental challenges and support sustainable development initiatives.
