From Oct 25 to Nov 23, cinemas across the Chinese mainland screen Chen Kaige’s “The Volunteers” trilogy and the “Battle at Lake Changjin” series to mark the 75th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army.
Shanghai Film Art Center’s “Where Dreams Were Created” exhibit traces 120 years of Chinese mainland cinema, showcasing martial arts classics, Monkey King and Ne Zha sketches, original props and VR experiences.
