TYLOO’s JamYoung Reflects on Historic Grand Final Win and Next Moves

Last week, the Chinese mainland's esports team TYLOO made history at the Counter-Strike FISSURE Playground Grand Final, beating Denmark’s Astralis to claim their first ever international title in the game.

At the heart of the win was Yang Yi, better known as JamYoung, whose standout performance earned him the MVP award. He shared his thoughts on what the victory means: "I think this championship means a lot to us. For me personally, it's an affirmation of my entire career," JamYoung says.

The MVP honor from HLTV carried special meaning. "I was thrilled to receive this MVP medal. It proves that players from the Chinese mainland have what it takes to reach top levels and win MVP," he adds, speaking to gamers everywhere who strive for recognition on the global stage.

TYLOO’s rising international fanbase reflects the growing influence of esports in the Chinese mainland. "Foreign fans now cheer for us, and teams learn or adopt our tactics," JamYoung notes, highlighting how a single win can reshape strategies worldwide.

Next up is the Esports World Cup, where JamYoung and TYLOO aim to push at least as far as the quarterfinals. "With this historic victory behind us, our journey is just beginning," he declares, setting the stage for another chapter in the rise of Chinese mainland esports.
