Fans at the Mandalay Bay were treated to a high-octane showdown as Wang capitalized on Kallberg's aggressive shot placement to seize the first game 11-9.
The second game remained neck-and-neck, tied 7-7 before Wang seized the momentum with back-to-back winners. Despite Kallberg clawing one back, Wang closed it 11-8 to move 2-0 ahead in the best-of-five encounter.
Trailing early in the third, Wang rallied to 5-5 and then edged ahead, reaching match point at 10-7. Although Kallberg saved one, Wang sealed the final game 11-8 and clinched her spot in round two.
