Ronaldo Pledges ‘Al Nassr Forever’ with New Two-Year Deal

With the words "Al Nassr forever," Cristiano Ronaldo has put uncertainty aside by signing a two-year contract extension with the Saudi Arabian club, extending his legendary career to age 42.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner arrived at Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United in late 2022, in a move that reshaped global football and attracted stars like Neymar and Karim Benzema to the region. Reports valued his original deal at up to $200 million per season.

In his first season, Ronaldo smashed 77 goals in 74 league appearances, lifting the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023. Yet league glory in the Saudi Pro League has eluded him. By re-signing, he signals his hunger for more history.

Ronaldo's trophy cabinet already boasts 28 major titles, including five Champions League crowns and Portugal’s two UEFA Nations League triumphs. The 141 goals he’s scored in Europe’s premier club competition make him its all-time leading scorer.

“A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together,” the Portuguese superstar wrote on social media, unveiling a jersey labeled "Ronaldo 2027."

As Ronaldo eyes the FIFA World Cup in Canada, the USA and Mexico next year, this extension cements his role as a global icon, redefining what it means to chase records beyond the traditional powerhouses of Europe.
