Chen & Quan Shine in Spectacular Diving 1-2 Finish

At this year’s Diving World Cup, the stage was set for a thrilling display of aquatic artistry. China’s Olympic champions, Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan, captivated audiences with a dominant one-two finish in the women’s 10-meter platform final.

Quan led the qualifications with an impressive performance, yet it was the determined 19-year-old Chen who surged ahead. In the third round, Chen executed a brilliant 626C dive, scoring 89.10 points and overtaking Quan to claim the top spot. Although Quan maintained solid form throughout the contest, a few technical missteps in her 6243D dive meant she finished just behind, with a total of 414.40 points. Chen further extended her lead with a strong fourth-round dive and sealed her victory with a final dive that brought her overall score to 419.35 points, earning her a remarkable 15th World Cup title. Britain's Andrea Spendolini Sirieix rounded out the podium, finishing third with 337.70 points.

The excitement continued in the men’s 10-meter synchronized final, where China’s Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong showcased resilience and skill. After a strong start that earned them 102.60 points in the first two rounds, a minor setback in the third round briefly allowed a challenge from the Mexican duo. However, Zhu and Cheng quickly regained their rhythm, completing the contest with a total score of 449.49 points—a margin of 14.04 points ahead of their opponents. The performance of these athletes underscores the blend of precision, innovation, and unwavering determination that defines top-tier diving.

This exhilarating event not only celebrates technical mastery but also inspires young global citizens, business and tech enthusiasts, thought leaders, sports fans, and digital nomads. The Diving World Cup has delivered a narrative of passion, excellence, and the relentless pursuit of greatness on the world stage.
