Athletes’ Village Pre-Opens Ahead of Harbin’s Asian Winter Games

The countdown to the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, located in the Chinese mainland, has officially begun as the primary Athletes' Village for ice event participants enters its pre-opening phase.

With the Games set to start on February 7, arrival and departure services have been initiated at Harbin Taiping International Airport on January 27 and will remain operational until February 17. Delegations from over 20 nations and regions, totaling approximately 1,000 participants, have begun the process of identification and verification before being escorted to their accommodations.

The Athletes' Village offers comprehensive living quarters, dining facilities, medical care, and various other services to ensure athletes have everything they need during the Games. The facility is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for competitors as they prepare for their events.

In addition to the main Athletes' Village, other villages are scheduled to enter their pre-opening phase on January 30, further expanding Harbin's capacity to host this prestigious international sporting event.
