Liverpool Thumps West Ham 5-0 as Man City Returns to Winning Ways

Liverpool dominated West Ham United with a stunning 5-0 victory at the London Stadium, extending their Premier League lead to eight points over Nottingham Forest. Mohamed Salah was in top form, showcasing his unparalleled skills once again.

The Reds took the lead in the 30th minute when Luis Diaz outmaneuvered Alphonse Areola after his attempted pass was returned to him. This marked Diaz's eighth Premier League goal of the season.

Salah demonstrated exceptional footwork, setting up Cody Gakpo in the 40th minute. Shortly before half-time, the Egypt international netted his 17th league goal, making it 3-0 and putting Liverpool firmly in control. This goal also marked Salah's 20th in all competitions.

Diogo Jota sealed the rout in the 84th minute, assisted by Salah's record 13th league assist of the season following a surging run. In other Premier League action, Manchester City snapped their five-game winless streak with a 2-0 away victory over Leicester City, signaling a return to form for the struggling side.
