The Beijing Ducks triumphed over the Liaoning Flying Leopards with a close score of 106-105, marking their third consecutive win in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
Liaoning's Kyle Fogg started strong with a three-pointer, but a missed shot allowed Han Dejun to rebound and set up another play, giving the Flying Leopards a six-point lead.
Despite early setbacks, including a dunk by Zeng Fanbo that put Beijing behind 51-43, the Ducks responded with a decisive 9-0 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Chen Ying-chun extended Beijing’s lead with a crucial three-pointer.
Wang Lanqin narrowed the gap for Liaoning, but with just 39 seconds left, Fogg's free throw brought the Flying Leopards within one point. In the final seconds, Fogg's attempt at a three-pointer was narrowly blocked, allowing Beijing to hold on for the one-point win.
With this victory, the Beijing Ducks move to third place in the standings, while Liaoning drops to sixth after their third straight loss.
