Harbin Gears Up for 2025 Asian Winter Games with Vibrant 50-Day Countdown

As the 2025 Asian Winter Games approach, Harbin, the bustling capital of Heilongjiang Province in the Chinese mainland, is abuzz with excitement. With just a 50-day countdown to the event scheduled from February 7 to February 14, the city is in the final stages of preparation, transforming its urban landscape into a winter wonderland.

Iconic locations such as Harbin's airport, railway station, and Central Street have become popular spots for both locals and tourists to capture moments with the Games' mascots, \"Binbin\" and \"Nini.\" These mascots, along with numerous emblems, slogans, and banners, are prominently displayed across the city, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the upcoming Games.

The organizers have taken meticulous steps to ensure the city is well-prepared. Over 9,000 flag poles have been installed along 94 main streets, symbolizing national pride and unity. Additionally, visitors can look forward to experiencing 60 ice lantern exhibits scattered throughout the city during the winter season, adding a magical touch to the festivities.

Merchandise enthusiasm is also on the rise, with 1,845 officially licensed Asian Winter Games products developed and already surpassing sales of 300 million yuan. These products span 18 major categories, offering something for every fan and collector.
