At the FIVB Women's Club World Championship, Tianjin Bohai Bank launched their campaign with a commanding victory over Egypt's Zamalek Sporting Club, winning 25-16, 25-18, 25-15. The team showcased remarkable teamwork, with Wang Yizhu, Li Yingying, and Chen Boya combining for an impressive 48 points.

Tianjin, who achieved their best-ever result by finishing third last year, started strong this season. Yao Di set up Irina Fetisova for a powerful spike, helping Tianjin take an early 14-9 lead in the first set. Tianjin libero Liu Liwen made a crucial save against Maya Mamdouh's spike, while Li Yingying extended the lead to 16-9 with her trademark forceful left-handed attack.

After securing the first set 25-16, Tianjin maintained their momentum, playing strategically and setting up another aggressive finish from Li. Wang Yizhu demonstrated exceptional control, finishing the next rally with a match-high 17 points. Her offensive versatility, including sharp-angled spikes, helped Tianjin preserve their two-point lead throughout the match. The team continued their winning streak by taking the next two sets 25-18 and 25-15.

With a strong start to the tournament, Tianjin Bohai Bank now prepares to face the Italian powerhouse, Numia Vero Volley Milano, in their next match.
