Ding Junhui Dominates Reanne Evans with 6-0 Victory at World Snooker International Championship

At the World Snooker International Championship in Nanjing, home favorite Ding Junhui delivered a stunning performance, defeating England's 12-time world champion Reanne Evans with an impressive 6-0 scoreline to advance to the last 64.

Reanne Evans, who held the world champion title ten straight times from 2005 to 2014, showcased her prowess with a long red. However, Ding quickly responded with a brilliant combination, taking the first frame with a break of 59. Despite a few challenges, the world number nine secured the next two frames, establishing a commanding 3-0 lead.

Evans, currently ranked third in the women's world rankings, missed a routine red, providing an opening for Ding to mount a comeback. The 37-year-old Evans went on a run of 69, leading 4-0. Nevertheless, Ding maintained his excellent form, making it 5-0 with a break of 71.

The 14-time ranking title winner continued his dominance in the sixth frame, recording the only century break of the match with a remarkable run of 124, culminating in a 6-0 victory. Ding will now face England's Martin O'Donnell in the next round.

Earlier on Sunday, Ronnie O'Sullivan triumphed over women's world number one Mink Nutcharut. O'Sullivan started slowly, allowing Nutcharut to claim the first frame with a break of 84. The seven-time world champion bounced back to win the second frame with a score of 124.

The 48-year-old O'Sullivan maintained his momentum, winning the next three frames to lead 4-1. Nutcharut fought back, narrowing the gap to 4-3, but the Englishman secured the eighth frame before clinching the victory with an impressive break of 132. He will now meet China's He Guoqiang in the upcoming match.
