Fan Zhendong represented Shanghai in the men's singles, swiftly overcoming Xu Yingbin with scores of 11-7, 11-5, and 11-8, tying the overall score at 1-1. In the second singles competition, Wang initially took a 2-0 lead against Zhou but ultimately succumbed to Zhou's three-game streak, leading Shanghai to a 2-1 advantage. Meanwhile, in the women's team final, Jiangsu Province edged out Shanghai 3-2. Jiangsu's Shi Xunyao and Qian Tianyi dominated the first doubles match, while Kuai Man's tenacious performance secured Jiangsu a 2-0 lead. Despite Shanghai's Sun Mingyang and Chen Yi fighting back in the subsequent singles battles, Kuai clinched the final decisive match, ensuring Jiangsu's victory in the championship.
