At home on Saturday, Beijing Guoan delivered a stellar performance, overwhelming Qingdao West Coast with a resounding 6-0 win. This marks Beijing's 15th win of the 2024 CSL season, solidifying their position in fourth place.

Fabio Abreu emerged as the standout player, contributing one goal and four assists. His first assist came from a header that set up Cao Yongjing's opening goal in the 18th minute. Abreu further extended the lead with a powerful header, making it 2-0. The second half saw Abreu continue his magic, assisting Lin Liangming for the third goal and Cao Yongjing for the fourth. His final assist led to Beijing's fifth goal, and a defensive error by Qingdao resulted in the sixth.

Changchun Yatai Secures a 4-0 Win

In Changchun, Yatai dominated Qingdao West Coast with a 4-0 victory, marking their eighth win of the season. Stoppila Sunzu opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a precise header, followed by Robert Beric doubling the lead in the 56th minute.

Beric continued his offensive prowess by setting up Serginho for the third goal in the 61st minute. The match was sealed in stoppage time when Serginho assisted Beric for his second goal, ensuring a commanding victory for Changchun.

These significant home wins not only highlight the strengths of Beijing Guoan and Changchun Yatai but also place additional pressure on Qingdao West Coast as they strive to climb the standings.
