Qian Tianyi and Chen Xingtong Win Women’s Doubles at WTT China Smash

In a thrilling all-Chinese final at the WTT China Smash in Beijing, Qian Tianyi and Chen Xingtong clinched the women's doubles title by defeating Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi in four intense games.

The match, held at the iconic Shougang Park, showcased the resilience and skill of Qian and Chen. The first game was fiercely contested, tying at 10-10 before Qian and Chen surged ahead to win 12-10. Demonstrating their competitive edge, they saved four game points in the second game, edging out their opponents with another 12-10 victory and leading the match 2-0.

Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi bounced back in the third game, dominating the court with an 11-3 scoreline, capitalizing on a crucial mistake by Qian. However, the momentum shift was short-lived as Qian and Chen regrouped to secure the fourth game 12-7, ultimately winning the match in just 35 minutes.

This victory marks Qian and Chen's second title of the year, following their triumph at the WTT Star Contender Doha earlier. Their consistent performance underscores their rising dominance in the world of table tennis, inspiring young athletes and enthusiasts globally.
