Chinese Duo Lin Shidong and Kuai Man Triumph in Mixed Doubles at WTT China Smash

In an electrifying display of skill and teamwork, Chinese pair Lin Shidong and Kuai Man clinched the mixed doubles title at the World Table Tennis (WTT) China Smash in Beijing on Friday. They overcame compatriots Lin Gaoyuan and Wang Yidi with scores of 11-5, 3-11, 11-5, 11-5 in a thrilling four-set final.

Expressing their surprise and delight, Lin Shidong shared, \\"We didn't expect to win this match 3-1. Perhaps we did better in preparing for the final and changing the pace.\\" Kuai Man echoed the sentiment, adding, \\"I think, generally, we have been performing well in tournaments. I'm glad that we can bring exciting matches to the fans.\\"

Beyond the mixed doubles triumph, Chinese paddlers dominated the tournament, securing the other two doubles titles hosted at home. In the men's doubles semifinals, Wang Chuqin and Liang Jingkun defeated the French pair Alexis Lebrun and Felix Lebrun 11-3, 11-9, 14-12, setting up a final clash against Lin Gaoyuan and Lin Shidong. Meanwhile, in the women's doubles category, Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi advanced to the final after convincing semifinal victories over Chinese Taipei's Cheng I-Ching and Li Yu-Jhun, as well as Chen Xingtong and Qian Tianyi overcoming fellow Chinese residents Chen Yi and Xu Yi.

\\"I think this match was smooth,\\" Sun Yingsha commented post-match. \\"We were in good control of the rhythm and performed well.\\" Qian Tianyi highlighted the importance of communication, stating, \\"Our constant communication was the key to our victory, and we will give our best in the final against our younger compatriots.\\"

The WTT China Smash showcased China's continued dominance in the table tennis arena, much to the delight of local and international fans alike.
