The inaugural Beijing stop of the Village Super League (VSL) Belt and Road Invitational successfully concluded at the Fengtai Sports Center, drawing a festive crowd of football enthusiasts and local supporters.
Over two dynamic days, the competition highlighted the vibrant grassroots football culture, complemented by performances during breaks that showcased the rich diversity of ethnic minority cultures in the region.
Saturday's matches saw Shandong's Zibo Fenghuo triumph over Hebei's Xianghe United with a score of 4-2. In another exciting game, Guizhou's Rongjiang Luohanguo dominated the local Wuli Xinfeng team, securing a 6-2 victory. These results set the stage for Sunday's final showdown between Rongjiang Luohanguo and Zibo Fenghuo.
The grand finale concluded with Rongjiang Luohanguo emerging victorious, defeating Fenghuo 1-0 to claim the title in Beijing's first-ever edition of the VSL.
