Mbappe Returns to Parc des Princes for Crucial Nations League Match against Italy

French superstar Kylian Mbappe made a notable return to the Parc des Princes, the home stadium of his former club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), on Thursday. The occasion was to attend team practice in preparation for the upcoming UEFA Nations League match against Italy scheduled for Friday.

During his seven-year tenure at PSG, Mbappe established himself as a key player, scoring an all-time leading 256 goals and providing 108 assists in 308 appearances. His contributions were instrumental in PSG securing six Ligue 1 championships, four Coupe de France titles, and several other trophies.

Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid in July marked a tumultuous end to his time with PSG, with the club and many fans expressing criticism over his decision to leave.

Reflecting on his return to Parc des Princes, Mbappe shared, \"It's special, I spent a lot of years here. I have so many memories, it's the place I know best from my career at the moment. I have nothing but great memories here, with my family, with all the team-mates I've had, with the club, it's great. I don't expect much, I don't care. The most important thing is to win, to really get the new season off to a good start, to be able to start off on a positive note.\"
