China Shines at 2024 Paralympics with 13 Gold Medals

Chinese athletes continued their remarkable performances at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris by securing another 13 gold, 12 silver, and four bronze medals on Sunday.

In the women's discus throw F64 event, Yang Yue and Yao Juan stood side by side on the podium, with Yang taking the gold by achieving a season-best throw of 42.39 meters in her second attempt, surpassing Yao's 41.98 meters.

Shi Yiting made headlines by winning the women's 200-meter T36 gold, completing the race in 27.5 seconds—a personal best in her career.

Zou Lijuan delivered an outstanding performance in the women's javelin throw F34, not only securing the gold but also breaking the world record with a throw of 22.55 meters. Her compatriot, Zuo Caiyun, earned the silver with a personal best of 19.44 meters.

These achievements highlight China's strength and dedication in the Paralympic arena, inspiring athletes and fans around the world.
