Joao Felix Secures Permanent Move to Chelsea on Seven-Year Deal

Chelsea have made a significant move in the transfer market by securing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid on a permanent basis. The Premier League giants announced the signing on Wednesday, agreeing to pay Atletico 50 million euros (approximately $55.7 million) including add-ons for the talented Portuguese striker.

Felix, who impressed during his loan spell at Chelsea in the 2022-23 campaign, played 20 games and scored four goals. His performances earned him a permanent spot, and he has now committed to the Blues with a seven-year contract.

As part of the agreement, if Chelsea decide to transfer Felix in the future, 20 percent of the revenue generated from that move will go to Atletico Madrid. This deal underscores Chelsea's long-term vision and their belief in Felix's potential to make a significant impact in the Premier League.

Before joining Chelsea, Felix spent time on loan at Barcelona last season, where he tallied an impressive 10 goals and six assists for the Spanish La Liga heavyweights. His versatility and skill on the field make him a valuable asset for Chelsea as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming seasons.
