To be recognized this way by your fellow professionals means everything and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me.\"

He also extended his gratitude to manager Pep Guardiola, the City coaching staff, and his teammates, acknowledging their support in his continuous improvement. With the Premier League title defense underway, Foden is already eyeing a fifth successive crown, following a strong start with a 2-0 victory against Chelsea.

In addition to the PFA accolade, Foden was named the 2023-24 Premier League Player of the Season and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year. Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City's Director of Football, praised Foden's talent and humility, stating, \"Phil embodies everything we stand for at Manchester City.
