Celebrating Champions: Li Fabin & Ou Zixia to Bear China’s Flag in Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony

Chinese Olympians Li Fabin and Ou Zixia have been selected to proudly carry the Chinese flag during the Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. This honor recognizes their outstanding achievements and contributions to their respective sports.

Li Fabin, age 31, has made a mark in weightlifting by securing the gold medal in the men's 61-kilogram category. This triumph marks his second consecutive Olympic title, following his victory in the same division at the pandemic-delayed Tokyo Games in 2021.

On the field hockey front, Ou Zixia has proven her prowess as a member of the Chinese women's team. The team clinched the silver medal in Paris after a competitive final against the Netherlands, matching China's best performance in the sport since their runner-up finish at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

As Li and Ou bear the flag, they embody the spirit of excellence and dedication that defines China's Olympic endeavors.
