China Shines: Athletes Nab 10 Medals on Day 14 of Paris 2024 Olympics

Chinese athletes made a significant mark on Day 14 of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, securing a total of 10 medals. The impressive haul includes four golds, two silvers, and four bronzes, showcasing China’s continued dominance in various sports.

In a thrilling showdown, Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, and Wang Chuqin triumphed over Sweden’s Anton Kallberg, Kristian Karlsson, and Truls Moregard with a decisive 3-0 victory in the men’s team table tennis final. This win extends China’s Olympic winning streak in table tennis to five consecutive games. Notably, Ma Long made history by becoming the first Chinese athlete to claim six gold medals in Olympic history.

China also maintained its supremacy in diving, with Chen Yiwen clinching the gold in the women’s 3-meter springboard event, scoring 376 points. This victory marks the tenth straight Olympic edition where a Chinese athlete has won this event. Chang Yani followed with a bronze medal, scoring 318.75 points, while Australia’s Maddison Keeney took silver with 343.1 points.

These achievements not only highlight the exceptional talent and dedication of Chinese athletes but also reinforce China’s prominent position in the global sports arena as the Paris Olympics continue.
