As the 2024 Paris Summer Games unfold, Chinese athletes are making significant strides towards dominating the medal tally. Competing in 39 gold medal events, Olympians from around the world are showcasing their best performances.

In table tennis, Chinese athletes have already clinched all the titles in Paris. The women's team is set to face Japan in the final at South Paris Arena 4 at 15:00 (GMT+2), aiming for their fifth gold in the sport and extending their female winning streak to five consecutive titles.

Meanwhile, at the Paris Aquatic Centre, China's Cao Yuan and Yang Hao are competing in the men's 10-meter platform diving final. A victory for either diver would allow China to sweep all eight golds available in diving, highlighting their exceptional prowess in the sport.

In boxing, Chinese boxer Li Qian is set to take on Panama's Atheyna Bylon in the women's 75-kilogram final at Roland Garros Stadium at 22:34 (GMT+2).

The USA is also in the spotlight, aiming to extend its dominance in Olympic men's basketball. However, host nation France is determined to challenge this supremacy and potentially cause an upset in the final at Bercy Arena at 21:30 (GMT+2).
