Quan Hongchan Shines as China’s Youngest Triple Olympic Gold Medalist at Paris 2024

In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Quan Hongchan of China made history at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris by becoming the nation's youngest three-time gold medalist.

Competing in the women's 10-meter platform diving event at the Paris Aquatic Centre, the 17-year-old Quan defended her title from the Tokyo Olympics three years ago. She secured the gold with an impressive total of 425.6 points, including a stellar 90 points in her first dive.

Her teammate, Chen Yuxi, put up a strong fight, earning the silver medal with 420.7 points. The bronze was claimed by Kim Mi Rae of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), who scored 372.1 points.

Overall, Chinese athletes excelled at the Paris Games, bringing home one gold, three silver, and two bronze medals on Tuesday. Quan's achievement not only highlights her exceptional skills but also cements her place as a rising star in the world of diving.
