Chinese Shooters Shine with Record Performance at 2024 Paris Olympics

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris concluded on a high note for Chinese shooters, who delivered a record-breaking performance. Athletes Li Yuehong, Wang Xinjie, Jiang Yiting, and Lyu Jianlin collectively secured one gold and two bronze medals, marking the best-ever showing for China in Olympic shooting events.

Li Yuehong triumphed in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol men's final, outscoring South Korea's Cho Yeong-jae by 32 points to Cho's 26. Additionally, Li's teammate Wang Xinjie amassed 23 points, contributing to the team's overall success. In the skeet mixed team event, both Jiang Yiting and Wang Xinjie clinched bronze medals, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork.

In total, China dominated the shooting competitions with an impressive tally of five golds, two silvers, and three bronzes. This outstanding achievement underscores China's growing prowess in the sport and sets a new benchmark for future Olympic Games.
