China's Zhang Qiongyue Wins Bronze in Women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions

At the Paris Summer Olympics on Friday, China's Zhang Qiongyue earned the bronze medal in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions shooting final. This achievement marks China's first medal in the event since Rio 2016, highlighting the strength and consistency of their shooting team.

Chiara Leone of Switzerland took home the gold with an Olympic record score of 464.4 points, while Sagen Maddalena secured the silver, representing the USA's first medal in the event since London 2012.

Zhang's podium finish contributed to China's impressive shooting medal tally in Paris, bringing their total to four golds, two silvers, and one bronze in shooting events. Other notable performances include Sheng Lihao and Huang Yuting winning gold in the 10m air rifle mixed team event, Sheng earning the men's 10m air rifle gold, and Huang taking silver in the women's 10m air rifle.

The Chinese delegation continued to excel with Liu Yukun winning the 50m rifle 3 positions men's final and Xie Yu securing gold in the men's 10m air pistol event. Additionally, Qi Ying finished with silver in the men's trap final, further solidifying China's dominance in Olympic shooting.
